The summit promises C-level presentations, expert panels, and closed-door think tanks, offering actionable insights into pressing industry issues such as compliance, legislative alignment, investment performance, and the integration of AI in pension management.
Delegates will engage with keynotes from renowned voices, including Professor Mervyn King and Dr. Azar Jammine, with focused discussions led by Joanne Manda of the UNDP on sustainable investment strategy.
“Our partnership with Nexus & Nexus reflects a shared vision to drive sustainable impact in Africa’s financial ecosystem,” said Benard Odote, Group CEO & Managing Director at House of Procurement.

The summit's highlight will be the Pan African Pension Funds Governance Awards, celebrating innovation and excellence in governance, investment, and member services. With pension funds across Africa managing trillions in assets, the event aims to reinforce ethical leadership, strategic foresight, and sustainable impact.
“This is more than just a conference—it’s a movement to redefine the pension fund landscape across Africa,” noted Sibusiso Msomi, spokesperson at Nexus & Nexus. “With a focus on building resilience and securing the future, the summit will set new industry benchmarks while providing a unique and immersive networking experience.”

Industry Influence and Economic Relevance
Experts say the summit’s timing is critical. As global economic shifts, inflationary pressures, and legislative reforms continue to shape the region, the summit presents an opportunity to recalibrate and innovate.
“The intersection of global economic shifts, inflation pressures, and Africa’s evolving pension landscape presents both challenges and opportunities,” said Dr. Azar Jammine, Chief Economist at Econometrix. “This gathering will be instrumental in unpacking key economic drivers and strategies that pension funds can leverage for long-term stability.”
